A decade ago, Newgen’s CSR journey began with a simple belief that the greatest measure of progress is not the technology we build, but the lives we help transform. This year, as we mark 10 years of purposeful impact, that belief continues to guide every initiative, every partnership, and every life we touch. What started as a commitment to give back has evolved into a sustained movement to create opportunities, nurture aspirations, and empower communities to build brighter futures.<\/p>\n
Education has remained at the heart of this journey. Through the Newgen Digital Discovery Paathshala (NDDP), our flagship initiative, we are helping bridge the digital divide for government school students, particularly girls. By providing tablets, digital learning resources, mentoring, and technology-enabled education, NDDP has empowered over 26,000 government schoolgirls, with more than 3,000 students receiving smart devices that enable continuous digital learning beyond the classroom. <\/p>\n
We believe that no child should have to choose between learning and hunger. Through our partnership with Akshaya Patra Foundation, we have helped serve over 94 lakh nutritious mid-day meals. Our commitment extends further through partnerships with organizations such as KHUSHII, KK Academy, and Computer Shiksha, benefiting more than 52,000 students through remedial education, 5 lakh students through computer literacy, and over 14,000 women and students through professionals at IAM, who helped provide support for mental health, well-being, and personality development. Trainers from ‘Each One Feed One’ support the vocational training of 100 women at the Skill Development Center. This year also marked the formation of our first self-help group, with many more expected to follow.<\/p>\n
